Job Duties:

Inspect semi-trucks and trailers to ensure they meet our biosecurity guidelines. Will assist in the movement of semi-tractors and trailers from the internal wash bay to the dryers. Must conduct post wash inspection of semi-trucks and trailers. Adhere to biosecurity policy at all times and report any violations to management personnel. Monitor all aspects of the washing and disinfection process. Must ensure the wash bay is cleaned and disinfected between each washing. Inspect all trailers, trucks, tractors, post-cleaning and order re-cleaning when necessary to meet biosecurity protocol. Inspect trailers and trucks to ensure they are equipped with functional tools and supplies. Remove snow and ice from the trailers and trucks when necessary. Monitor supplies levels needed for washing trucks and trailers. Monitor upkeep of exterior grounds.

Special Requirements:

Must have at least 1 month experience as a Biosecurity Technician or a similar position that requires familiarity with livestock biosecurity protocol. This position requires excellent attention to detail, an ability to understand biosecurity requirements, and an ability to follow document procedure. Requires frequent stooping, bending, standing, and stepping up. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
