Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Workers will transport pigs within our production flow while always strictly following animal wellbeing, biosecurity, and safety protocols. Workers will be required to remove and transport dead and living livestock. Workers will operate a company-owned motor vehicle, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain and complete fuel reports and logbooks. Workers will install, maintain, and monitor trailer panels as well as proper amount of clean bedding. Workers will be required to wash, disinfect, and bake livestock trailers each time a trailer leaves the livestock confinement. Workers may be asked to remove snow from around the livestock confinements and road on the farm. Workers will also be required to disinfect the snow removal equipment after each use.

- Workers must be able to follow detailed biosecurity protocol. Workers must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds for 75 yards and climb heights of at least 48inches. CDL Class A Drivers License or International equivalent Drivers License and a clean driving record is required. Three (3) months of experience working with livestock and driving in winter weather conditions preferred. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
