- Job Duties:
- Assist in various breeding programs including heat detections, pulling for artificial inseminating. Assist in care of cattle to include vaccinating, branding, feeding, treating sick animals. Clean and feed bunks and water troughs, mowing pastures, spraying weeds, building and fence maintenance. Must be able to stand on feet for long hours working in hot/cold weather. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (feed and hay). Work times & schedules vary, OT probable up to 55-60 hours total per week. Hours vary between the hours of - weekdays 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, weekends 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Possibility of advances for family emergency or needs as applicable, payback terms will be agreed upon by both parties depending on each situation. If any deductions are made from payroll to reimburse advances they will optional and will not drop the overall wage below the minimum AEWR.
