The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Operate farm equipment (tractors, combine, sprayers) to till soil, plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, & harvest crops. Applicants need to be able to perform mechanical repair and maintenance including welding and drive semi-trucks to transport product to elevator or storage area. Basic literacy reading and math skills required. Applicants must have 3 months experience and be able to obtain a driver?s license. Increase or bonus may be possible based on experience and merit.
