Job Duties:

Perform any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Administer medications/vaccinations; Check cattle feed & water equipment; Maintain cattle feed & water equipment; Feed livestock/mix additives in feed; Inspect livestock for illness/injury; Collect and remove manure; Maintain heated watering system; Operate snow removal equipment; Break up ice in watering troughs. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
