Job Duties:

Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields & levees. Crawfishing involves putting out traps, manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps & emptying traps with a push boat, weighing, tagging, and washing crawfish, loading trucks and delivering crawfish to market. Traps are removed from the fields after season, clean equipment & workshop, repair broken traps to prepare for next season. Frequent stooping & bending; lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements, push & pulling, standing & walking and working outside in inclement weather conditions. The workers may be offered but not required to work more than 7 hours per day and/or the sabbath depending upon the conditions at the worksite, weather, and maturity of the crop. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. All tools, supplies & equipment are provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
