- Job Duties:
- We farm 2,500 acres of corn, alfalfa, triticale and sorghum. Employees will be required to do any and all work related to farming, including manure loading and hauling to fields, dry manure spreading with Spreader trucks and JBS spreader wagons, liquid manure application to fields with tractors and a manure injection toolbar or disc. Employees will assist with all ploughing, discing, planting and mowing of fields. For CDL holder(s), employee(s) will haul feed, such as alfalfa bales, straw bales and other forages to the dairy as well as to customers. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

- Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
