The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle home from summer pastures in December. Winter cattle work. Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feed equipment. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Maintaining winter cattle gates and fences. Hauling water to cattle. Prepping barns for freeze. Opening frozen water tanks and springs. Snow removal. Sorting cattle for market. Moving cattle to and from pastures. Prep barns and cattle. Replace cattle bedding. Tagging cattle. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
