- Job Duties:
- Workers will ensure and uphold the highest standards for the humane treatment of animals while following the farm’s bio-security protocols at all times. Workers must maintain and monitor the health, care, and treatment of livestock. Workers will be expected to maintain and assist with livestock feeding systems, ensuring livestock are fed and watered according to respective protocols. Workers may assist in performing routine and seasonal vaccinations and injections as directed. Daily tasks include general facility cleaning, maintenance, and hygienic upkeep. Workers will perform pre-check inspections in preparation for the disinfection process, abiding by the safety protocols to ensure the equipment is in efficient working order. Workers will power wash the facilities following the cleaning and disinfecting processes. Assisting with the recording and maintaining of accurate production records and documentation will be required. Workers must follow all safety policies and procedures at all times, and communicate any potential hazards or near misses to the Department Lead or Manager. Workers will oversee the movement and loading of livestock for transportation.

- Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. Minimum three (3) months of previous pork production experience with one (1) month of on-the-job training. Must have experience implementing, monitoring, and following livestock biosecurity protocols. All workers must respect and care for the livestock and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively."
