Job Duties:

Drive tractor, trucks and trailers to haul equip., farm animals, feed & other supplies. Use tractor for digging ground to get ready for planting. Maintain equipment. Tend to farm & ranch animals ie goats, cattle and horses, perform animal husbandry tasks, euthanize downed animals, birth animals, plant & harvest crops, repair farm structures & fences, clean & maintain animal housing areas & grounds. Repair & build fences, dig ditches, cut grass. Farm field & shed sanitation duties. Plant & harvest crops, repair farm structures & fences, clean & maintain animal housing areas & grounds. Use heavy equipment to clear brush. Conduct regular pasture/brush management (Remove weeds & brush, fertilize native grasses, plant seasonal foliage, trim trees, plant food plots) Perform Landscaping/lawn care tasks (mow entrances, irrigation repair/maintenance, plant & care for ornamental trees, shrubs & plants) Perform wildlife management (fill feeders, provide counts for wildlife biologists, trap feral hogs & protect cows/calves from predators). Involves bending, stooping, lifting, stretching, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling and repetitive movements on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift 50lbs often, work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
