GENERAL FARM LABORER NEEDED FOR RICE, CRAWFISH AND SOYBEAN FARM, WORK INCLUDES PREPARATION OF FIELDS, PLANTING AND HARVESTING OF CROPS, FERTILIZING OF CROPS AND WATER MAINTANENCE. FIELD PREPARATION INCLUDES MANUALLY HOEING OF WEEDS AND MANUAL SHOVEL WORK, SPOT SPRAYING OF TREATMENTS AND GENERAL FARM LABOR, CRAWFISHING INCLUDES MANUALLY CUTTING UP BAIT AND CHECKING OF TRAPS IN ADDITION TO MAINTAINING OF FIELDS. THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY IS SEASONAL IN NATURE BASED UPON CRAWFISH HARVESTING BEGINNING IN DECEMEBR AND ENDING IN JULY, THE RICE HARVESTING SEASON BEGINS IN JUNE/JULY AND LASTS THROUGH SEPTEMBER OR LATER AND SOYBEAN HARVESTING BEGINNING IN AUGUST AND ENDING IN OCTOBER. THESE CROPS ARE SEASONAL IN NATURE BASED UPON THEIR GROWING CYCLE AS WELL AS THESE CROPS ARE NOT BEING PRODUCED YEAR ROUND BUT ONLY AT CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR. THE AFOREMENTIONED CROPS ARE ALSO TIED TO A SPECIFIC SEASON OF THE YEAR AND ARE RECURRING ANNUALLY.
