The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Prepping barns and fences for winter. Feeding the cattle. Pregnancy check the herd. Working and vaccinating the cattle. Weaning the calves. Shipping calves to market. Snow Removal. Opening frozen tanks. Prepping barns and lots for calving season. Calving begins in February runs through April. Cleaning barns. Fixing fence in summer pastures Branding. Moving cattle to summer pasture at end of season.

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required.
