IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING WAGES FOR TEMPORARY AGRICULTURAL JOBS

The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Feeding cattle. Distribute hay, sileage, and feed supplements from storage areas to feed troughs, fields and pastures. Cleaning and maintaining feed troughs, barns, grain bins, associated tools equipment, and other storage and water facilities. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug and/or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-hire and is not a part of the interview process.
