Temporary, seasonal workers needed for crawfish, cattle and grass/hay farm; job duties include crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties on fields; manually cutup fish bait, bait/check traps, grade/wash crawfish for shipment; make repairs to traps as needed. Cattle and hay duties include tractor/equip/truck driving; field prep, water maintenance; fertilize/plant/harvest crops; manual shovel work, hoe weeds; spot spray; repair/maintain bins, equip., farm and fences; maintain field levees, roads and shop; load/unload trucks; grass cutting. Repair/maintain barn, corrals, equip, farm, fences, fields, pastures, roads, shed shop and water troughs; travel between worksites required; Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray and related chemicals may affect workers' ability to perform job; all tools furnished, job involves frequent stooping and exposure to extreme temps, must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.; minimum three months experience. Base hours offered is 45 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wage may be paid based on experience.
