Job Description

Number of Workers Requested:

Job Duties:
We are in need of seasonal employees to assist with our crop production of corn, soybeans, alfalfa and grass hay. We also do fencing and pasture care in the summer for our cows. The fencing is building new fence and repairing old fences by doing tree and brush removal. The employees would be getting equipment ready for work in March and begin operation in April. We also have a bulldozer that we use to get the field ready and that would be part of that operation. After planting we begin harvesting the hay and that continues until October. Employees would operate a tractor to mow, rake and bale hay. In August we begin harvesting corn and soybeans until November. These crops get hauled to a grain bin on the farm or hauled to town with a semi truck. As we harvest there is work to do on the fences in the fields for the cows to be turned into them and dozer work to get the fields ready for next year. I am looking for people that can operate equipment and semi trucks but also assist with general hands on farm labor.
