- Job Duties:
- We farm with around 1,000 breeder ostriches on a 300 acre farm close to Valley Mills, TX. We do breeding, incubation, hatching and then also rearing of ostrich chicks for processing. We require someone with experience in the incubation and hatching of ostrich chicks. This is a very specialized duty, and the laying is seasonal - from around February till the end of November. The breeder birds then go into a resting period during December and January where no laying or hatching occurs and no help is needed until the next breeding season starts. Employee will complete general farm duties as assigned.

- Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
