The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
We need a seasonal employee to assist with our ranch operation. Employees will need to assist with all types of Ranch work including repairing fences, welding (arc), using a cutting torch, water well repairs, windmill repairs, working cattle, riding horses, routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, operating a backhoe and tractor. Duties will include herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading animals. Employees will also need to maintain records on animals, examine animals to detect disease and injuries; assist with birth deliveries. Will need to operate trucks and tractors and other equipment.
