The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Workers duties will include ranch and farm duties of caring for goats, sheep, cattle, drenching and vaccinating livestock, planting, plowing and cutting and baling hay. Workers will build and maintain fences and control cacti growth using chainsaws, Bobcats, and tractors. Workers will clean and maintain equipment and perform other farm related general maintenance duties. Workers must possess 3 months experience using a 75 hp or larger tractor.
