The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Workers will need knowledge and experience with the following: 12 Row Equipment; 10 350 HP Tractor; Self Propelled Sprayers and Harvesters. Knowledge of latest technology, including Swath control, irrigation management (center pivots, furrow, using pipe planner). GPS guidance systems, be proficient with web based farm management software, general farm labor such as shovel work, cleaning shop, general cleaning and maintenance of farm equipment and vehicles which will be required when weather prevents field work. Maintain worksite, equipment, buildings and fences. Mowing or clipping of grass at headquarters and turn rows. Grain bins: loading, shipping and maintenance of grain bins. March - October: insecticides applied by a tractor or industrial spray applicator. Corn planting March through April. Corn irrigation June through July. Corn harvest August through September. Soybeans planting April through May. Soybeans irrigation June, July, and August. Soybeans harvesting September and October. Cotton planting April through May. Cotton irrigation June through September. Cotton harvest October through November. Wheat planting November. Wheat harvest May. Must be able to drive a 18-wheeler semi-truck for harvest. Additional work tasks may be requested by General Manager or Owner.

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
