The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Duties may include: Drive and operate farm equipment. Plant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest and store grain crops. Operate tractors and change attachments to till ground and plant crops. Operate auto steer tractor, drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage areas on job site. Tow harvesting equipment like grain carts, drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service and incidental repairs on farm machinery and equipment. Drive utility vehicles on work site. Excessive standing and walking. Allergies can be a factor working in fields between crops. Worker is expected to acquire US drivers license within 90 of arrival & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Possible background check post hire at employer's expense. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid Driver's License in the State of Arkansas within 2 weeks of reporting to work.
