The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. - Beekeeping duties: split, medicate, harvest honey, pollenate, re-queen, etc. General farm work associated with all aspects of farming. Farm field/shed sanitation duties includes: mow grass, dig ditches, levees, fences, etc. Minor maintenance/operation of farm equipment. All other duties, if assigned, will be duties as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org)
