Job Duties:
Operate farm equipment (tractors with implements and harvest equipment) during the season to plant, cultivate, fertilize, protect, and harvest cotton, grain sorghum, and corn crops. Operate vehicles to and from fields and tow trailers with water and fertilizer. Move farm equipment to and from fields. Daily maintenance on equipment. Operate GPS in equipment. Maintain cattle pastures and pens by mowing, repairing fence, can other maintenance duties. Clean and control brush in pastures. Maintenance on buildings. During summer harvest hours worked can range from 45-80 hours per week.
