Job Duties:

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Drive tractor with GPS and computer monitoring. Drive tractors to field work such as disking, land planting, plowing. Drive pickup trucks with various trailers attached to haul fuel, chemicals, seed, water. Help operate a back hoe. Keep crops irrigated throughout the growing season. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive trailer trucks with hopper bottom trailers to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Crops: Corn, Rice, Soy Beans Equipment: Tractor, Pickup Truck, Combine, Trailer Truck

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
