- Job Duties:
- Workers are required to check and chart pond oxygen levels, are responsible for activating the emergency tractors and paddle wheels to maintain sufficient oxygen levels, minor repair and maintenance on equipment, help maintain the integrity of the ponds by ensuring birds are kept away. Workers will be required to sen and load catfish in trucks. Must be self-motivated, willing to work long hours, willing to work some nights, must be able to read and write English, have a basic working knowledge of electricity is preferred. Must not be afraid of snakes and alligators. Workers will be required to do general farm labor. Drug tests may be performed post hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Worker must abide all posted work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
