Job Duties:

Job requires operating large farm equipment, tractors, combines and sprayers to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize, and harvest crops; performing mechanical repair and maintenance; and driving semi-trucks to transport product to elevator or storage area. Manual labor will be required for tasks including cleaning equipment and shop areas, laying irrigation pipe, maintaining ditches, pipes, and pumps, and cutting weeds in fields. Basic literacy and math skills along with 3 months of experience are required. Applicant must have, or be able to obtain a driver's license. A criminal background check may be done at the employer's expense. Increase or bonus may be possible based on experience and merit.

Special Requirements:

Applicant must have, or be able to obtain a driver's license. A criminal background check may be done post-hire at the employer's expense to ensure safety on and around the worksite and to the public. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. Moderate cell phone use will be allowed on the job. Extensive sitting or walking may apply while operating tractors and combines. Laying irrigation pipe will require frequent stooping and bending over.
