Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment (trucks, tractors, 4-wheelers, payloader, auger, semi-trucks, with trailers, feed truck) for planting, spraying, and harvesting of crops. Laying out irrigation pipe for crops. Clean, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment. Crop handling, hauling farm commodities. Minor farm construction projects. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Precondition and maintain cattle: Assist with the calving, monitoring, and birthing of calves. Process new cattle that come in. Vaccinate and monitor cattle for signs of illness. Mix feed, feed and water all cattle. Clean pens. Put up/maintain fence, corrals, and pens. Haul manure. Move/transport cattle. Schedule subject to vary based on weather conditions. 1 hour meal break Crops: corn, soybeans
