- Job Duties:
- Installing temporary irrigation spill gates in rice using a shovel, installing temporary irrigation piping in corn and soybean fields using a shovel, changing irrigation settings, maintaining irrigation equipment including diesel, natural gas and electric powered wells and relift pumps by changing oil, refueling, and lubricating, help with maintaining harvest machinery by washing refueling, changing oil and lubricating, removal of temporary irrigation spill gates and piping using a shovel, help in unloading grain trucks into storage facilities by operating a small grain elevator and cleaning facility. Operating large farm equipment for cultivating, fertilizing, planting, harvesting, and tilling oilseed crops such as corn, soybeans, corn and wheat.
