Job Duties:

We need seasonal employees to assist with application of fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia to fields. Employees will need to haul fertilizer by driving fertilizer and chemical tender trucks to take fertilizer to applicator in the field. Employee will need to fill and haul anhydrous ammonia nurse tanks. Fill tanks at the main location and haul them to the applicator at the field. Apply fertilizer to the field with a self-propelled spreader. Apply chemicals to the field with a self-propelled sprayer. Employees will need to work in the shop at the main location to fix equipment and prepare it for busy seasons including cleaning vehicles, tidying up the shop/workspace. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.

Special Requirements:

Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Requires 3 months experience.
