Job Duties:

Tregellas Family Farms is a 15,000 acre farm based east of Perryton, Texas. We are a mostly dry-land operation that produces wheat, milo, corn, cotton and hay. Our farm land is 2,500 irrigated and 12,500 dry land. Here at Tregellas Family Farms, we strive to maintain a professional attitude and appearance with our employees and those we do business with. We run nice, newer equipment and take pride in our equipment and land, and expect employees to take the same pride and care of all things related to our farm. The employee will operate, maintain, and service properties, equipment implements and irrigation. Must be able to operate planter and GPS monitors. Employee will operate equipment, such as a tractor with grain cart, planter, air drill, tillage and mower; operate a semi truck with grain trailer and tanker; and operate sprayer. Employee will assist with keeping inventory of parts, chemicals, and equipment. During harvest and planting (April-June & October-November, depending on weather) work hours will be extended including Saturdays, and time off will depend on season. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. ***Please note that for 2024 and all future years, we will file for a March 1 starting date to cover our entire crop season.

Special Requirements:

Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employers discretion. Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
