- Job Duties:
- Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain/pulse/oil seed crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Mow Lawns. Cultivate Tree Rows. Spray Weeds. Fix Fence. Shovel (Dirt, Grain, Etc.) Climb Grain Bins. Operate Equipment in a safe manner. Put up hay (Swathing/Baling/Raking.) Navigate farm machinery in a safe way on main roads. Repair Corrals and or farm buildings. Clean and maintain equipment. Spray crop with herbicides/insecticides. Equipment: Case IH Magnum 240, Case IH Puma 165, Semi Truck, Pickup Truck, 66' Air Seeder Bourgualt, 70' Harrow, Apache Sprayer, Case IH Combine 8250, Versatile 550 Delta Track, Degelman Rock Picker, Morris Hay Hiker, Vermeer Super M, New Holland 2450 Crops: Dry Peas, Lentils, Wheat, Yellow Mustard

- Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Worker is expected to arrive to work on time, be able to work independently and perform given tasks. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
