- Duties may include: Sorting and cleaning dead hives, feeding, medicating, inspecting, splitting beehives using specific hive tools, smokers, and feeding pumps, harvest and extract honey from hives, perform equipment and building maintenance, cutting weeds and maintaining farm lands & other related Beekeeper, Helper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment due to equipment use and safety procedures: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Variable weather conditions may apply.
