Job Duties:

Workers will be required to erect and maintain hot houses, plant seeds for vegetable, transplant into cups, water plants in hot houses, cultivate fields, help apply fertilizer, plastic, drip, lay flat, etc., and tie plants, applying chemicals to fields after properly trained and under the supervision of a licensed applicator, hand harvest vegetables, hand pack some vegetables in the field, and/or work in the packing facilities, duties including but not limited to: grading, packing, stacking, counting boxes, labeling, hauling culls, cleaning machines, picking buckets, picking bins, tools, etc., Making boxes and lids, irrigation duties, repairing fences, helping to keep animals from fields, cleaning and maintenance to farm vehicles and equipment, keeping the yard around the house and shed mowed and free of debris, cleaning house and all trash picked up, field sanitation duties, and any general farm labor duties that may arise in the operation of commercial Tomato/Vegetable Farm. Some tractor driving. Workers may be drug tested post-hire at no cost to the worker to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive may result in immediate termination. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
