Job Duties:

Pruning fruit trees and berry bushes. Hand thinning apples and peaches. Spray fruit crops. Weeding, pulling weeds in crops. Planting, picking, and harvesting tree fruit, berries, melons, vegetables, misc. Greenhouse, high tunnel work, planting, training, harvesting, crop clean up. Overall general maintenance of trees and plants. Building trellises and fencing. Digging holes for planting. Summer scouting for pests. Summer pruning of trees. Install and maintain irrigation equipment including digging new lines. Work with small engine type equipment and power tools. Crops: peaches, apples, tree fruit, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, tomatoes, sweetcorn, melons, pumpkins, vegetables, fruit, misc. garden crops, flowers.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must have harvest and picking experience. Mostly outdoor work in all weather conditions; hot, cold, wet, or dry. Must be able to stand for 8 hours, stoop, or bend. Perform tasks with repetitive movement. Non-smoking/tobacco and drug free environment. May be required to work on weekends.
