- Job Duties:
- We farm 1800 acres of land where we raise soybeans, wheat, cotton and corn on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The island is only accessible by water. We use a barge and tugboat for transportation to the farm. We plant and harvest our own crops as well as transport our own commodities to market with semi-trucks. Employee will be required to drive a tractor and operate all other farm equipment, assist in loading and unloading equipment from the barge, assist in loading seed and chemicals into the planters and sprayers assist in cleaning and maintaining farm equipment, assist in running grain bagger and grain bag unloader and assist in land maintenance (ex. mowing, tree trimming or removal). Employee will need to complete all aspects of growing these crops and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.

- Job requires extensive pushing, pulling, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
