- Job Duties:
- Plant and care for nursery stock produced by Heads Up Landscape and Sprinkler, LLC by weeding, pruning, repotting, watering, mulch plants, trees, and shrubs. Inspect plants to assess quality and health and to identify signs of disease or pests. Handles incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains the inventory of nursery stock contents. Maintains clean work areas, grounds, and landscaping. Ensures irrigation systems are working correctly and performs essential maintenance and repairs when necessary. Runs heavy equipment when necessary. Grading and irrigation installation is to be performed when necessary. Maintains records for plants and trees related to size, watering needs, and plant varieties. Preparation of soil for planting purposes. Performs other essential duties as assigned.

- Special Requirements:
- Irrigation troubleshooting and repair. Mulch application/spreading. Tree and shrub pruning and care. Some knowledge of planting techniques and processes. Must be familiar with basic irrigation functions. Must be available to work 40+ hours per week in various/extreme weather conditions, including Saturday, as needed. Must be safety consciousness. Driving requirements for farming equipment involved digging holes, grading, or other means necessary to complete a given task under nursery stock requirements. Extensive walking could be required due to the nature of many plantings in a big area, hooking up hoses for any reason necessary, or the general activities required for a busy working week.
