Job Duties:
Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as rock picker, disc, roller, augers and drill to tractor. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Grain handling and water hauling . Mowing and upkeep of farm yards and bin sites. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Crops: Canola, Durum, Lentils, Peas Equipment: John Deere 9560RT Tractor, John Deere 1835 Hoe Drill, John Deere 1890 No-till Drill, Case 4440 Sprayer, John Deere 6190R Tractor, John Deere 7800 Tractor, John Deere 7710 Tractor, John Deere S680 Combine, Spray Trailer, Multiple semi and tandem Axle trucks for grain handling, Multiple Augers for loading and unloading into bins, Grain Cart, Land Roller, Disk, Rock Picker, Fuel Wagon, Multiple Farm Trucks (Mainly Fords)Other equipment used in grain farming practices

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
