The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. - Prepare planting beds with hand tools, dig, fork, rake, spread compost. Divide and pot up perennials, transplant perennials, small trees and grasses. Fence and trellis construction. Plant, irrigate, weed, harvest, and pack nursery stock and produce. Be able to use a string trimmer, lawn mower, and hand tools. Ability to work near bees.
