Job Duties:

Seasonal/temporary farmworkers needed between 3/21/2023 to 6/15/2023. Job duties include plant rice. General farm work farm field/shed sanitation duties includes: mow grass, dig ditches, levees, fences, etc. Minor maintenance/operation of farm equipment, harvest crawfish; bait; re-bait; cutup bait; repair traps; etc. When time allows process, grade, deliver to storage or market, etc. Must peel a minimum of 5 lbs. of tail meat per hour. Must be able to perform physical activities that involve repetitive movements and considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs. and for extended periods of time. Work is conducted outside in all kinds of weather, including rain and extreme heat and cold. Random drug screening upon hire. (paid for by employer) Time may vary due to mechanical, availability of crop and weather conditions.
