Job Duties:

Preparing soil, planting, weeding, thinning, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading, and packing various outdoor crops such as, but not limited to, hops & various grains is necessary to accomplish these tasks, determined by weather conditions. Some aspects of the job may require up to 50lbs. Must be able to perform general farm machinery maintenance and irrigation. Farm hand tools include, but are not limited to, power and manual pruners, weeders, shovel, hoe. Must be able to load and unload trailer trucks filled with vegetables in an orderly manner, under direct supervision. These jobs may be performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. May need to wear protective equipment including, but not limited to rain gear. Minimum of 30 days experience required.
