- Responsible for harvesting and inspecting crops, including wheat (March-May), corn (July-October), alfalfa (May-October), and sorghum (September-December); irrigating farm soil and maintaining ditches, pipes, and pumps (March-January); control weeds (April-December); and preparing farm machinery for harvesting, including performing general farm equipment maintenance and repairs and waste handling (March-January); tarping and untarping silage (April-November).
