Job Duties:

Supervisors/drivers will pick up workers, take them to worksite, walk the greenhouse, supervise greenhouse workers to ensure quality work, and drive them back to their housing. Supervisors will organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks; set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to company employees; monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback, coaching or training accordingly; receive complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner and accordingly to his responsibility level; maintain timekeeping and personnel records; pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa; prepare and submit attendance, performance and any additional reports needed to comply with regular operations; ensure adherence to both Oro Valley's and Bushel Boy's company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises; operation of a forklift; and transportation of the work crew from housing site to grower facilities and back. They will also ensure field sanitation measures are maintained throughout the day, such as ensuring availability of drinking water and ensuring bathrooms are kept clean. They are required to live in the housing provided by the employer and take workers once a week to the grocery store. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense. Any crew leader (farm labor contractor) employed under this job order must have a valid federal Farm Labor Contractor Certificate of Registration and must abide by all the requirements of the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA). The employer understands that they areresponsible for assuring that all conditions of this agreement are met regardless of any acts or omissions of the crew leader.
