- Job Duties:
- Duties may include: Transplant container plants to larger pots. Work in a nursery production and greenhouse production environment preparing nursery stock and greenhouse crops. Planting, seeding, propagating, cultivating, watering, spacing, fertilizing, staking and pruning of crops produced. Covering and uncovering nursery stock to protect it from inclement weather. General maintenance of crops on site, including through chemical application and manual weed pulling. Maintenance of production records. Driving tractors, tugs or trucks to move plants from one production area to another. Loading and unloading nursery stock and greenhouse crops and assisting in shipping products. General maintenance of all areas and infrastructure involved in crop production, including potting fields, input and tool storage areas and loading docks & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

- Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply.
