Job Duties:

Workers are required to work both inside structures & outside in various weather elements. May work with bedding plants, shrubs, small trees. Duties for plants include propagating, working on potting line, filing cold frames or hot beds, transplanting products to prepared areas, re-potting into large containers. Shrubs and small trees are transplanted as needed to promote growth and harvested when applicable. Will wrap harvested bare root trees with burlap. Sod must be kept watered, fertilized, &mowed, cut into pre-sized pieces & stacked on pallets or baled when harvested. Care of horticultural products includes 4 Basic Job Requirements (check all that apply): Lifting requirements Repetitive movements Exposure to extreme temperatures B: Minimum Job Qualifications/Requirements weeding, pruning, mulching, raking, irrigating, fertilizing, & other media growth activities. Products must be tied, bunched, wrapped, priced, & tagged in preparation for market. Will pack products to fill orders and maintain stock in storage areas.
