Hudson Black Creek Farm, 10 temporary agricultural workers for Daniesville, GA From 03/25/2023 to 12/31/2023. Maintain the health and wellbeing of the cattle and lamb including monitoring the cattle during both fall and spring calving seasons. Cut, bale, pick up bales, transport, unload, stack, and storage during and bale hay season. Their duties would also include clearing fence rows, clean/repair farm buildings and fences, moving fences for rotational grazing, or anything to assist with the cattle herd. Must be able to operate some farm equipment such as tractors, post hole diggers, small power tools, and hand tools. May examine animals for signs of illness and administer vaccines, medications, and insecticides according to instructions. May assist in calving, trailing, branding, castrating, sorting, and loading on to trucks for transport to a new range or market Fall calving season is September through December, Spring calving season is March through May. Hay Harvesting season is from May to September. The use or possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-hire and is not a part of the interview process. Negative results may be required post-hire and before commencing work. Must not hinder another worker's productivity. Use of personal cellphone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies, violations would result in immediate termination. Requires one-month verifiable prior farmworker experience in the activities listed. 35 hours a week. Employer will reimburse as per section I. Conditions of Employment and Assurances for H-2A Agricultural Clearance Orders. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. Housing provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. In the event a female worker is hired, employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing and toilet facilities for male and female workers. 1st week guarantee.
