- Job Duties:
- Pasture and Horticulture Manager will be responsible for rotating animals sequentially through 15 pastures over a 35 day period, irrigation (flood, spray, drip and hose) of all the fields, reseeding, weed and pest control. Observing, recording and meeting all animal health needs. Operation of trucks, tractors, skid steers and tillers. Maintenance of all fencing (including electric), irrigation and equipment. Manager will be responsible for all fruit and vegetable seeding, planting, transplanting, cultivation, harvesting, washing, packing, shipping. Manager will be responsible for cleaning animal pens, composting, amending soil, managing pests, weeds, nutrients and record keeping. Manager will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Manager will be responsible for working with and training adolescents and adults in this work, including scheduling, motivating and inspiring through mentoring. Manager will live on the farm and be responsible for 24 hour emergency backup.

- Special Requirements:
- Must be an experienced irrigator in flood, spray, and drip to include electric valves and controller clocks. Must be experienced in weed and pest control and understand certified organic regulations. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to worker. A criminal background check is required because they will be working with and managing minors, also at no cost to worker.
