- Job Duties:
- All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Prepare for the arrival of the bees from out of state. Service equipment, repair and build new hives, as well as blend hives with new combs. Feed, medicate and care for bee colonies. Move hives to and from various field locations for top honey production. Monitor and maintain healthy bee colonies. Extract and package honey and other bee byproducts. Clean up and sanitize plant. Prepare all bee hives to be shipped out of state at the close of the season.
