Job Duties:
General farm labor including preparing farm ground and equipment for the planting season. Set-up, operate and maintain farming equipment in order to plant, spread fertilizer, harvest and haul corn and soybeans. Operate, maintain, and repair irrigation systems. Complete general farming duties such as servicing equipment, hauling grains, and maintenance of farm grounds and buildings. Plant corn and soybeans, assist in spraying corn using a tractor and pull type sprayer. They will help move the sprayer tender from farm to farm and mix chemicals. Operate the combine, grain cart, semi hauling grain or a tractor and drill planting cover crop. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 75yds. 3 months experience is required.
