The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Workers will be hand picking/harvesting blueberries and putting them in one gallon buckets. They will dump the buckets after they are full into bins. The workers must be able to stand, walk, and carry the buckets throughout the day for long period of times. They must select the ripe blueberries according to their color. Workers will also plant and replace blueberry plants when needed. Workers must wash there hands before starting to work and after every break. The buckets and other tools will be provided to the workers at no cost. Must be 18 years old to apply. Workers must have 3 months verifiable work experience.
