Job Duties:

EDWARD HERNANDEZ(FLC) /Hernandez Harvesting LLC., (26) temporary agricultural workers for North Carolina in (Sampson County) from 05/01/2023 to 08/30/2023. (Blueberry/Blackberry Harvesting); Harvest by hand, plant, weed, prune, care, cleaning, Maintenance, packing, and equipment operations in Blueberry/Blackberry farm. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is outdoor and continues in all types of weather. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. The use or possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Worker may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires 1 months of verifiable work experience manual harvesting. $0.50 per Pound or equivalent/Blueberry, $3.50 per flat (Eight 12 oz. containers) blackberries, $14.91/hour, 35 hours a week. 1st week warranty. Housing provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old. "Go to your nearest Career Center."
