Job Duties:

Construction of livestock confinement. On farm site duties to be performed include unloading and installation of various types of hog equipment such as watering, feed, ventilation and gating systems, insulating and sealing components of livestock barns and ventilation systems. Once the farm site is operational, duties may also include stocking the site with livestock and general livestock care associated with that process. Once the livestock confinement equipment is installed, the building needs to be stocked with the swine. The swine is trucked to the facility. The workers will be responsible for receiving the livestock from the truck and unloading the livestock into the appropriate location within the confinement. Equipment installation workers will then troubleshoot and/or adjust the livestock equipment, such as the feeding and watering systems, which cannot be done until livestock are in the building. Welding experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds for 75 yards.
